The Seattle Aquarium internship program is designed to provide individuals with practical learning experience while gaining valuable knowledge related to his/her career goals. Our internship is an in-depth program requiring a minimum commitment of 400 hours in at least 10 weeks but no more than 13 weeks (32-40 hours per week). Must be flexible with schedule. Unpaid position.
The Seattle Aquarium offers internships in the life science, education, and guest experience departments. Life science internships will be heavily concentrated in animal husbandry and will have an education/interpreation component.
