The Mock Interview Program
The Career Services Center offers the Mock Interview Program to assist people in preparing for interview opportunities with prospective employers, undergraduate, and/or graduate school programs. The mock interview gives you the opportunity to practice your current interview skills and to acknowledge your strong and weak areas in the interview process. This program allows for you to improve these weak areas through feedback and critiques from professional personnel within the Career Services Center. Also, you will be able to critique your own performances through videotape. All sessions are videotaped unless requested otherwise.
Registration Process
1) Documents you will need before you register:
* A hardcopy of your resume (Please have your
resume critiqued by the Career Services Center prior
to signing up for a mock interview.)
* A hardcopy of the job description or under/graduate
program description (Note: If you are completing
this for an assignment or general practice, pick a
job title you are interested in and look up a job
description for that title online and print it out.)
2) When you have these documents, you will fill out a registration form, and return the completed form with the attached documents to the Career Cervices Center (C1-34). No ater than two days after the Center receives the form, you will be called to choose an available date and time to appear at the Career Services Center for your mock interview.
