The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

The graduate and Post-Baccalaureate Certificate programs at the school of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, give students unprecedented freedom to create art and to grow as artisits and teachers. Equally rigorous and each with a different emphasis, our Masters' and Certificate programs offer the opportunity to pursue interdisciplinary work, or to focus in a single medium.
If You choose the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) prgram or Master of Art in Teaching, Art Education (MAT) program, your degree will come from TUFTS University, SMFA'S world-class partner in educating artists. You will take academic courses at Tufts and enjoy all the benefits it offers, including interacting with students across a range of disciplines and expanding your artistic and intellectual communtities.
As a Pot-Baccalaureate student, You will graduate with a certificate from the internationally recognized School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. All students will also benefit from a close working relationship with the museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Gallery visits, lectures and dialogue with visiting artists help each student understand how their art fits the contemporary art world.
