GREAT NEWS! WestPACS now has its own pages on Facebook AND Linked In!

Facebook members can now become a "FAN" of WestPACS, RSVP their attendance at the fair, and invite friends in their own networks to attend the fair with them!

Linked In members can join the WestPACS group, view testimonials, invite others to the fair and link to the pre-registration page.

I am including instructions below.
And if you are not on Facebook and/or Linked In yet, this is a great time to give it a try!

How to become a Facebook fan of WestPACS
1. Log into Facebook (www.facebook.com )
2. Search for WestPACS (in the box on the upper right)
a. In the results, choose the WestPACS page, which has a flag icon
3. This will bring up the page that has been created for WestPACS. This page contains information about WestPACS and
advertises upcoming events to the general public. It will not expire.
a. Click the “Become a Fan” link.
b. This will automatically add you as a fan of WestPACS, this notification will also display on your home page.

How to invite people to attend the fair
1. Log onto Facebook (if you have not already)
2. Under the events section of the WestPACS site in the left column, click on the job fair event
a. RSVP on the right side if you are attending
b. Under the photo there is an option to invite other people
c. Please send this event to all students and alumni that you are friends with

How to join the WestPACS group on Linked In
1. Log into Linked In (www.linkedin.com )
2. Select "Search Groups" in the box at the top and type "westpacs"
a. In the results, you will see the main WestPACS group and a "subgroup" for the Fall 09 fair.
b. Choose the main WestPACS group.
3. This will bring up the group that has been created for WestPACS. View the
a. View the Group Profile to see the description and list of members.
b. Join the subgroup to see the information about the Fall 2009 fair.
c. You can invite others to join the group, start discussions, leave testimonials, etc.
