At the information session, you'll meet current faculty and students at an informal lunch, learn about the program and its options, and get detailed information about the application process and what we look for in applicants. We'll wrap up the day with a campus tour. Please consider joining us and encouraging your students to attend.

As one of the top universities in the U.S., we attract students from across the country, but we remain strongly committed to Pittsburgh and the region and are very interested in identifying
local candidates. Many of our students have backgrounds in English or writing, but an undergraduate degree in either area is not required for admission. What is required is a'love of
writing and a strong desire to develop that interest into a professional career.

We are currently accepting applications for our fall 2010 class (applicationdeadlineis February15, 2010) and appreciate your help in identifying potential applicants. We also appreciate your help in passing this information along to other faculty or advisors. We look forward to hearing from you and your students and to meeting you at the November session.
