The Student Employment Services & Co-op Center of Delaware County Community College has sole discretion in approving employers for posting job openings and/or reviewing student and alumni resumes, and in accepting employment listings for posting to the DCCC College Central site.
Third-party recruiters (employment agencies and search firms) may submit job openings for posting to the College Central site, but will not be given access to student or alumni resumes. Information received from applicants by third-party recruiters may be shared only with the specific employer listing the position for which application was made.
Positions requiring an initial investment from the applicant, including direct payment of a fixed fee, payment to attend an orientation or training session, and/or purchase of a starter kit, will not be posted. This does not apply to federal and state licensing requirements such as real estate, securities, etc.
Employers and individuals offering employment or entrepreneurial opportunities based on a "pyramid" or "multi-level" networking structure requiring or encouraging the recruitment of others who recruit others and so on to sell products and services will not be approved for job posting or resume review.
To be eligible for posting, positions must pay a base salary or hourly wage equal to or greater than the federal minimum wage and comply with federal, state and local regulations. Commission-only positions will not be posted. Draw against future commissions does not constitute salary.
