The Stanford Teacher Education Program is a unique teacher education program leading to a Master of Arts in Education and a preliminary Multiple or Single Subject Teaching Credential. STEP offers secondary credentials in the following areas: Social Science, Math, English, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Physics), World Languages (Japanese, German, French, Spanish and Mandarin)

STEP seeks to prepare and support teachers working with diverse learners to achieve high intellectual, academic, and social standards by creating democratic classrooms and equitable schools.

Kristen Babineau, an admissions representative from STEP, will be holding an information session to discuss the program and application requirements. STEP alumni will also be available to answer your questions.

The session will be on Monday, November 9, 2009 from 7-9pm at Boston University’s School of Management Building, Room 412 located at 595 Commonwealth Avenue.
