This is a two year program in leadership development and audit. You will receive extensive training in audit and other areas of retail banking. This position is located in Lowell, Arkansas in the Northwest Arkansas Region, and will begin Spring/Summer of 2010. The interview process will be held during the months of November through February. Travel is required in the Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas areas. At the end of the two year program, Arvest Bank will make a concerted effort to place you in an associate position in an area in which you are interested. Salary is commensurate in education and experience. Under the supervision of the Director of Internal Audit, Audit Manager or Senior Auditor (dependent on the particular assignment), the incumbent performs tests of the bank's policies and procedures requiring prior work experience or professional training in the auditing/accounting area. The incumbent also performs tests of account balances and accounting records. This person is required to deal with moderately difficult audit tests with limited supervision, and complex audit tests under the supervision of the auditor. Preparation of initial reports and review various departmental records. The incumbent handles complete audits of small operational areas under direct supervision and is required to provide an impartial and unbiased evaluation of the adequacy of accounting controls and resulting records maintained throughout the bank group.
