For over 25 years, English Nanny and Governess School has placed college-educated individuals with select clients to work as Certified Professional Governesses (CPG). Our governesses have highly rewarding careers, may travel internationally and nationally, and earn as much as $45,000 to $65,000 per year. A Certified Professional Governess (CPG) also receives paid vacations and holidays, health insurance and many other benefits. Our CPGs are trained to stimulate a child’s intellectual, creative and cultural development. Training: We train CPGs at the English Nanny and Governess School‘s campus in the historic village of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. University level faculty and renowned specialists in a wide range of disciplines lead our three-month academic and training program. Positions Available: Our in-house placement service sets up interviews with prospective employers and conducts salary and contract negotiations on your behalf. All contracts include benefits such as paid vacations, health insurance and much more. Also, we offer placement assistance throughout your career as a governess. Upon completion of our three-month training program, we will arrange interviews with our clients. Many of our governesses travel nationally and internationally. Requirements: B.A. or B.S., all majors. Must be willing to work toward a Certified Professional Governess (CPG) certificate through English Nanny & Governess School.
