Dear Colleague,



Your students and alumni are cordially invited to participate in the 34th Annual Job Fair for Educators sponsored by the Career Development Center at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. This year’s event brings in many educational employers from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, Alaska, Delaware, Maryland, California, Virginia, Florida, and beyond!



The Fair will be held Monday, March 9, 2015 at the McFarland Student Union, room 218 at Kutztown University from 10AM – 2PM, with entry for non-KU candidates beginning at 11AM.



Information for candidates:

- No pre-registration required

- Sign in at the candidate registration table upon arrival

- One copy of resume collected at registration table

- $5 admission fee, cash only, for non-KU students/alumni

- Professional dress required

- Bring plenty of resumes for employers

- Parking is ample since it is Kutztown’s spring break week

- Jobseekers may view employer profiles and job opportunities beginning on February 18 at http://kutztown.edu/careercenter (please see attachment for current registrants)

Our Spring 2015 College Career Booklets have just been released. You may find the documents under Job Opportunities for Graduates. These are great resources for your students, as they provide a listing of job titles for which students may qualify based on their degree, no experience necessary.



As a reminder, bachelor degree students who are within seven months of graduation and have completed at least 90 credits, and associate degree students who are within seven months of graduation and have completed at least 45 credits, may begin the application and testing process prior to graduation.



The entire summary of open civil service examinations can be accessed at by selecting Job Seekers . This listing is updated every two weeks, so students are encouraged to access it frequently to read about new employment opportunities.

On Wednesday, March 4, 2015, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine will be hosting our annual Spring Graduate Programs Open House. I would like to invite you, your colleagues and students to attend this informational event. The program will be held in Evans Hall from 5:30pm – 8:00pm. Registration will begin at 5:15pm and light refreshments will be provided.
