Fractured Atlas: A Resource for Artists

Fractured Atlas is a national non profit organization that provides services and support to artists and arts organizations of all disciplines. MassArt Alum, Dianne Debicella (Photo ’04) is the Program Director for Fiscal Sponsorship.

This presentation is designed for emerging individual artists to address the crucial issue of raising money to support their creative endeavors.

This presentation will be a complete overview of the fundraising process and will address such issues as:

- How do arts organizations in the US fund their operations?
- Who gives money to the arts, why do they give it, who gets the money and how do I find it?
- What are the differences between individual and institutional giving?
- What is fiscal sponsorship and how can it help me?
- What do I need to submit a grant proposal?
