This meeting is a repeat of the one offered last Thursday, Nov 5 at 7pm. If you were not able to join us on that night, please attend this meeting.

If you are planning, and we hope you are, to re-apply for a position for academic year 2010/11 please join us for this special meeting for returning student leaders.

Since you have already been through a Student Leadership selection process, we thought of a way to get you involved in helping to prepare the prospective student leaders, which will also be part of your Student Leadership Application process. We know you have great communication skills (that’s one of the reasons why we hired you!). So, to contribute to your professional development, we will be training you to be a workshop presenter!

Even if you are graduating in May, you are encouraged to participate in leading an Interview Skills workshop.

Please be sure to RSVP because we will have refreshments. At the meeting you will see a demonstration of a basic interviewing skills workshop. At the end, you can decide which part of the workshop you will want to present. Will it be the good/bad student interview? The technique to use to help you shine in an interview? You can be part of a student team that collectively presents the Interviewing Skills workshop to your peers.

Don’t worry, we will be with you every step of the way. We think it will be fun and a great way to help you develop your group presentation skills and will be in place of the presentations
