The Philadelphia Teaching Fellows is a highly selective initiative to recruit and train outstanding individuals of all backgrounds to become certified teachers in the School District of Philadelphia starting in January, 2005. A Bachelor's degree is required, but no education experience is necessary. Individuals interested in teaching Special Education, Math, Spanish, Physical Education, and Science are especially encouraged to apply. Applications are being accepted immediately.
