Anoka-Ramsey Community College has partnered exclusively with College Central Network® to power its career management platform for its Job Readiness Services.

College Central Network is a robust career platform designed to provide job seekers with employment opportunities and career development resources, while providing a pipeline of new talent to business and industry. It features opportunities for part-time jobs, internships, and full-time employment, making the job search experience easier and more productive for you.

The platform also provides a quick, easy way to sign up for career fairs, workshops, résumé reviews, and appointments with Career Services staff. You'll find great job and internship opportunities here, as well as relevant career advice resources, including the award-winning College Central Podcast featuring over 125 quick dives into specific career related topics. Plus, you'll have access to the Job Agent, which automatically matches job opportunities to your unique profile.

To date, over six million jobs have been posted by more than two million employers, who are recruiting candidates through the Network—their one-stop shop for recruiting!

For Students

Once registered, you may:

Our online Employer Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

You must register your organization with our office prior to accessing these services. Once your registration is reviewed, if it is approved you will receive an email which includes a link to activate your account.

Guidelines for Employers and Industry Representatives

Posting Positions

Posting will remain active for the stated timeframe employers have set (usually not more than 60 days). Once a posting expires, it is the responsibility of the employer to repost it. We reserve the right to refuse individual postings.

The ARCC Job Readiness Center and Services will NOT APPROVE a position if:

  • The employment opportunity resides in a private residence.
  • The employment opportunity involves on-campus solicitation or on-campus sales.
  • The student is required to purchase, rent, or obtain a line of credit for any type of sales kit or presentation supplies.
  • The student is required to obtain a personal or corporate line of credit.
  • The employment or internship opportunity is contingent upon the student paying a fee for employment or placement services.
  • The posting is for a part-time commission-only position.
  • The posting is for direct sales or network marketing.
  • There is not enough information provided in the posting to verify that the organization is an established company.
  • The employment or internship opportunity does not include paid training.
  • The posting is for advertisements for competitions or contests.

We ask that:

  • Employers will maintain confidentiality of student information, regardless of source, including job board database.
  • Employers comply with National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Principles for Professional Conduct for Employment Professionals.  
  • Employers must comply with EEO and Affirmative Action principles in recruiting activities.

Posting Internships

Anoka-Ramsey Community College Career Services Center will post internship opportunities that meet the following guidelines:

  • Consist of structured learning experiences with outlined responsibilities, regular supervision, mentorship, and evaluation process.
  • The responsibilities relate directly to the students major or career interests.
  • Paid internships must adhere to the guidelines listed above.
  • Unpaid internships must adhere to the following guidelines:
  • U.S. Department of Labor Guidelines
  • National Council of Non-Profits

Third Party Recruiters

Third party recruiters will be allowed to post positions if they provide to the career services staff, when requested, the contact information for the organization for which the third party is providing recruiting services.

The third party agency must state the following:

  • They will NOT charge any fees to students or expect deductions from their salaries.
  • They will NOT disclose student information to other employers/organizations without obtaining prior written consent from the student.
