About Our Services

Community College of Allegheny County has partnered exclusively with College Central Network® to power its career management platform for its Career Services & Job Readiness.

College Central Network is a robust career platform designed to provide job seekers with employment opportunities and career development resources, while providing a pipeline of new talent to business and industry. It features opportunities for part-time jobs, internships, and full-time employment, making the job search experience easier and more productive for you.

The platform also provides a quick, easy way to sign up for career fairs, workshops, résumé reviews, and appointments with Career Services staff. You'll find great job and internship opportunities here, as well as relevant career advice resources, including the award-winning College Central Podcast featuring over 125 quick dives into specific career related topics. Plus, you'll have access to the Job Agent, which automatically matches job opportunities to your unique profile.

To date, over six million jobs have been posted by more than two million employers, who are recruiting candidates through the Network—their one-stop shop for recruiting!

For Students

Students who are new to CCAC starting from the fall 2019 semester have been pre-registered to use the great services of College Central Network. If you did not activate your account from the email, choose the Activate link and you can input your own password and finish your registration.

Returning students: please use the button to create your account. You will prompted to use your NetID username.

Once registered, you may:

  • Search for jobs posted exclusively to Community College of Allegheny County and search the Jobs Central® national job board.
  • Build a résumé with Résumé Builder, or upload a résumé file to Resume Central® so you can apply directly to jobs and/or allow it to be searched by employers (if you so authorize). Your résumé will be reviewed by our office and must be approved before it can be sent to employers or submitted online to posted jobs.
  • Build an online portfolio in Career Portfolio Central® to support your résumé and demonstrate your best work to employers.
  • Review your job search history. Report offers/hires.
  • Receive emails about programs, services and job-related topics.
  • Gain access to announcements, upcoming events, career advice documents, career advice videos, podcasts, and career articles from over 125 authors.
  • Manage your on-campus interview schedules.
  • Search our Mentoring Network to find profiles of people who work in your fields of interest and contact them online.

You must register with CCN to use our services.

If you have already registered, sign in to begin using our services.

Once registered, you may:

    There are two ways to join our Mentoring Network:
    1. Join by registering as an alumnus/a
      This will allow you to take advantage of all online services, including the ability to search and network with other Mentors.
    2. Create a Mentor-only account
      If you only wish to become a Mentor, Register Here.

For Employers

Our online Employer Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

You must register your organization prior to accessing these services. Once your registration is reviewed, if it is approved, you will receive an email which includes a link to activate your account.

If approved, depending on your access level, you will be able to use some or all of the services listed below:

  • Job Posting
    Post jobs targeted to Community College of Allegheny County students, alumni, community residents.
  • Résumé Search
    Search résumés of our students, alumni, community residents. When searching for alumni, your results may include community residents.
  • Portfolio Search
    Search career portfolios that have been prepared by our students, alumni, community residents.
  • On-Campus Interviewing
    In addition to posting on our Job Board, you may also post positions that involve on-campus interviews. An interview date will be scheduled after we review and approve your posting. You may then log in to check submissions, candidate status and schedules. On-campus interviews occur during specific times of the year. If you do not know our recruiting schedule, please contact us before posting your job.
  • Recruiting Services & Job Positions
    In addition to job postings, we offer a wide variety of resources and services to help employers find qualified applicants for part-time, internship and full-time positions. We will work with you to determine any additional ways that we can promote your opportunities in order to meet your hiring needs.
  • Job Fairs/Expo
    The CCAC Annual Job Fairs host approximately 100 employers each year to meet with students and alumni regarding part-time, internship and full-time opportunities. If interested in attending, please contact CareerServuces@CCAC.edu to learn more.

Employer Advisory Board
The Employer Advisory Board provides advice and expertise on the current employment trends and hiring needs for a variety of industries. The information, and guidance, provided by the board ensures that our students and alumni are aware of the skills needed to meet the workforce demands in our region and beyond. The board provided exceptional input into our Job Search Guide that is produced every 2 years. It has also provided us with ideas and guidance on our departments marketing, technology, job fairs and networking events, financing/corporate partnerships and more. We would like to recognize the Employer Advisory Board for their continued support and invaluable feedback. For Community Residents

If you are a community resident who would like to search for jobs, you must first register. Please indicate that you are a Community Resident on your registration form. Once registered, you may also receive emails about programs, services and job-related topics.
