Delgado Community College has partnered exclusively with College Central Network® to power its career management platform for its Career Pathways.

College Central Network is a robust career platform designed to provide job seekers with employment opportunities and career development resources, while providing a pipeline of new talent to business and industry. It features opportunities for part-time jobs, internships, and full-time employment, making the job search experience easier and more productive for you.

The platform also provides a quick, easy way to sign up for career fairs, workshops, résumé reviews, and appointments with Career Services staff. You'll find great job and internship opportunities here, as well as relevant career advice resources, including the award-winning College Central Podcast featuring over 125 quick dives into specific career related topics. Plus, you'll have access to the Job Agent, which automatically matches job opportunities to your unique profile.

To date, over six million jobs have been posted by more than two million employers, who are recruiting candidates through the Network—their one-stop shop for recruiting!

For Students

Welcome to the Delgado Community College job board.

You must create an account to utilize the many valuable job search services including resume builder, resume critique, jobs posted to Delgado students, portfolio manager, and job search educational materials.

Once registered, you may:

  • Search for jobs posted exclusively to Delgado Community College; search the Jobs Central® national job board and the Intern Central® national internship board.
  • Build a résumé with Résumé Builder, or upload a résumé file to Resume Central® so you can apply directly to jobs and/or allow it to be searched by employers (if you so authorize). Your résumé will be reviewed by our office and must be approved before it can be sent to employers or submitted online to posted jobs.
  • Build an online portfolio in Career Portfolio Central® to support your résumé and demonstrate your best work to employers.
  • Review your job search history. Report offers/hires.
  • Receive emails about programs, services and job-related topics.
  • Gain access to announcements, upcoming events, career advice documents, career advice videos, podcasts, and career articles from over 125 authors.
  • Search our Mentoring Network to find profiles of people who work in your fields of interest and contact them online.

Career Services provides students with information regarding full-time and part-time employment and offers them assistance in developing effective job search skills and strategies. Career advisors offer individual career guidance as well as help in beginning a specific job search. The office maintains employment listings. Resume assistance is provided to students as they organize their resumes as well as advice on how to prepare for interviews. Seminars on job search, as well as job readiness techniques are offered.

Although the college can provide instruction for many educational and career objectives, the student is ultimately responsible for selecting and defining career goals and for obtaining employment. Faculty and staff members assisting students cannot assume responsibility for educational and career decisions or for employment.

For Alumni

Our online Employer Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

You must register your organization with our office prior to accessing these services. Once your registration is reviewed, if it is approved you will receive an email which includes a link to activate your account.

If approved, depending on your access level, you will be able to use some or all of the services listed below:

  • Job Posting
    Post jobs targeted to Delgado Community College students, alumni, community residents.
  • Résumé Search
    Search résumés of our students, alumni, community residents. When searching for alumni, your results may include community residents.
  • Portfolio Search
    Search career portfolios that have been prepared by our students, alumni, community residents.

Occupational opportunities, salary ranges, and goal setting information are also available. Resume assistance is provided to students as they organize their resumes as well as advice on how to prepare for interviews. Seminars on job search, as well as job readiness techniques are offered.

For Community Residents

If you are a community resident who would like to search for jobs, you must first register. Please indicate that you are a Community Resident on your registration form. Once registered, you may also receive emails about programs, services and job-related topics.
