About Our Services

Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School has partnered exclusively with College Central Network® to power its career management platform for its Cooperative Education Office.

College Central Network is a robust career platform designed to provide job seekers with employment opportunities and career development resources, while providing a pipeline of new talent to business and industry. It features opportunities for part-time jobs, internships, and full-time employment, making the job search experience easier and more productive for you.

The platform also provides a quick, easy way to sign up for career fairs, workshops, résumé reviews, and appointments with Career Services staff. You'll find great job and internship opportunities here, as well as relevant career advice resources, including the award-winning College Central Podcast featuring over 125 quick dives into specific career related topics. Plus, you'll have access to the Job Agent, which automatically matches job opportunities to your unique profile.

To date, over six million jobs have been posted by more than two million employers, who are recruiting candidates through the Network—their one-stop shop for recruiting!

For Students

All Grade 11 and 12 students have been pre-registered to use our CCN services. Select the Activate link to complete the registration process.

Once registered, you may:

Our online Employer Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

You must register your organization with our office prior to accessing these services. Once your registration is reviewed, if it is approved, you will receive an email which includes a link to activate your account.

If approved, depending on your access level, you will be able to use some or all of the services listed below:

    Post jobs targeted to Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School students, alumni.
  • Our online Employer Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • You must register your organization with our office prior to accessing our services. Once your registration is approved, you will receive an email which includes a link to activate your account.
  • Job postings are available to current students.
  • Please visit the Cooperative Education section of the Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School web page for more information on the Cooperative Education program.

Employer Requirements for participation in the Cooperative Education/Internship program

  • Provide the student with a minimum of 30 hours during the CTE cycle (5 days, every other Wednesday through Tuesday alternating with 5 days of academic requirements)
  • Pay the student directly, deducting appropriate taxes (NOT on a 1099) (Co-op only)
  • Cover the student on the Workman’s Compensation policy ** (both Co-op and Internship)
  • Comply with the Essex North Shore’s district policy on background checks on supervisors
    • CORI for MA residents
    • SAFIS (Statewide Applicant Fingerprint Information System) for out of state residents
    • Allow an initial worksite safety assessment and periodic (by term) on site visits by school rep.
    • Complete “Cooperative Education Agreement”/ “Internship Agreement”
    • Agree to comply with all restrictions for workers under 18 years of age
      • In particular, limitations on number of hours minors are allowed to work
  • Agree to provide supervision to students at all times
  • Agree to verify hours worked and evaluate skills for the student on a weekly basis
  • Report any call out, injury, termination or other immediate concern to the Co-op office
  • Please note that unpaid internships are limited to one trimester and limited to certain CTE programs
