About Our Services

Martinsburg College has partnered exclusively with College Central Network® to power its career management platform for its Career Development Services Office.

College Central Network is a robust career platform designed to provide job seekers with employment opportunities and career development resources, while providing a pipeline of new talent to business and industry. It features opportunities for part-time jobs, internships, and full-time employment, making the job search experience easier and more productive for you.

The platform also provides a quick, easy way to sign up for career fairs, workshops, résumé reviews, and appointments with Career Services staff. You'll find great job and internship opportunities here, as well as relevant career advice resources, including the award-winning College Central Podcast featuring over 125 quick dives into specific career related topics. Plus, you'll have access to the Job Agent, which automatically matches job opportunities to your unique profile.

To date, over six million jobs have been posted by more than two million employers, who are recruiting candidates through the Network—their one-stop shop for recruiting!

For Students

In Martinsburg College’s continued commitment to your career advancement, we have partnered with College Central Network (CCN).

Please register with CCN to use these services. Use the Sign Up link to register, or if you already have an account, enter your credentials and click Sign In.

The Career Center provides you with the tools and guidance you need to conduct a successful job search and move forward with your career.

Once registered, you may:

  • Search for jobs posted exclusively to Martinsburg College and search the Jobs Central® national job board.
  • Build a résumé with Résumé Builder, or upload a résumé file to Resume Central® so you can apply directly to jobs and/or allow it to be searched by employers (if you so authorize). Your résumé will be reviewed by our office and must be approved before it can be sent to employers or submitted online to posted jobs.
  • Build an online portfolio in Career Portfolio Central® to support your résumé and demonstrate your best work to employers.
  • Review your job search history. Report offers/hires.
  • Receive emails about programs, services and job-related topics.
  • Gain access to announcements, upcoming events, career advice documents, career advice videos, podcasts, and career articles from over 125 authors.

The more self-directed you are in your approach to career planning, the faster you will be able to secure your next position. We are confident that you will benefit from using the Career Center to achieve your career goals.

You now have access to this virtual Career Center technology which you can access through the Martinsburg College website (www.martinsburgcollege.edu) and your Learning Portal. This is the same site where you logged in to take your classes (http://onlineclasslogin.com/).
