About Our Services

Northwest Arkansas Community College has partnered exclusively with College Central Network® to power its career management platform for its Career Services Center.

College Central Network is a robust career platform designed to provide job seekers with employment opportunities and career development resources, while providing a pipeline of new talent to business and industry. It features opportunities for part-time jobs, internships, and full-time employment, making the job search experience easier and more productive for you.

The platform also provides a quick, easy way to sign up for career fairs, workshops, résumé reviews, and appointments with Career Services staff. You'll find great job and internship opportunities here, as well as relevant career advice resources, including the award-winning College Central Podcast featuring over 125 quick dives into specific career related topics. Plus, you'll have access to the Job Agent, which automatically matches job opportunities to your unique profile.

To date, over six million jobs have been posted by more than two million employers, who are recruiting candidates through the Network—their one-stop shop for recruiting!

For Students

You must register with CCN to use our services.

Students must use their NWACC Student ID number as their user ID to sign in and/or create an account. Please enter only the numbers; DO NOT INCLUDE THE "ST." Please contact the Career Services Center if you do not have or know your Student ID number.

How to Create an Account:

1. Click on "Sign Up."

2. Enter your Student ID number and create a password. Click "Continue."

3. Answer applicable questions. Questions with red asterisk REQUIRES answer.

4. Click "Submit."

To apply and be considered for jobs in the CCN, you MUST upload your resume.

Once registered, you may:

  • Search for jobs posted exclusively to Northwest Arkansas Community College and search the Jobs Central® national job board.
  • Build a résumé with Résumé Builder, or upload a résumé file to Resume Central® so you can apply directly to jobs and/or allow it to be searched by employers (if you so authorize).
  • Build an online portfolio in Career Portfolio Central® to support your résumé and demonstrate your best work to employers.
  • Review your job search history. Report offers/hires.
  • Receive emails about programs, services and job-related topics.
  • Gain access to announcements, upcoming events, career advice documents, career advice videos, podcasts, and career articles from over 125 authors.
  • Manage your on-campus interview schedules.
  • Services we provide are:
    • Individual assistance with cover letters, resumes, and practice interviews;
    • Access to the CCN, an online job portal;
    • Workshops about various topics such as dress for success, interviewing, creating a successful LinkedIn profile, etc.
    • Monthly internships/employment recruiting events;
    • Annual Majors/Career Fairs;
    • Personal guidance with major/career exploration;
    • One-on-one career coaching– Job Readiness Certification opportunity;
    • Administering skills/interest assessments; and
    • Personalized assistance with your specific education plan.

For Employers

Our online College Central Network's Employer Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

You must register your organization with our office prior to accessing these services. Once your registration is reviewed, if it is approved you will receive an email which includes a link to activate your account. Please view the instructions at this webpage link:

If approved, depending on your access level, you will be able to use some or all of the services listed below:

  • Job Posting
    Post jobs targeted to Northwest Arkansas Community College students, alumni.
  • Résumé Search
    Search résumés of our students, alumni.
  • Portfolio Search
    Search career portfolios that have been prepared by our students, alumni.
  • On-Campus Interviewing
    In addition to posting on our Job Board, you may also post positions that involve on-campus interviews. An interview date will be scheduled after we review and approve your posting. You may then log in to check submissions, candidate status and schedules. On-campus interviews occur during specific times of the year. If you do not know our recruiting schedule, please contact us before posting your job.
  • The Career Services Center serves to meet employers' (companies) hiring needs by offering:
    • Post jobs anytime: 24 hours/7 days access to the College Central Network (CCN); online job portal;
    • Availability for on-campus recruiting/interviews;
    • Free promotion of jobs on physical job bulletin boards, NWACC's Student Announcement emails, and NWACC Career Services' social media pages; and
    • Highlight your company/industry with classroom presentations and/or campus workshops.

NWACC's College Central Network (CCN) is a free service to employers and students. Jobs on the CCN are posted for 90 days or employers may close it after it has been filled.

Additionally, the Career Services Center hosts "Workforce Wednesdays" for which employers are invited to come to NWACC on Wednesdays for on-campus recruiting. Company representatives may schedule visits to the Bentonville and Springdale's Washington County Center to meet students and promote employment opportunities. Arrangements for room and/or table reservations for on-campus recruiting/interviews can be made by contacting the Career Services Center at Career_Services@nwacc.edu.
