Sierra College has partnered exclusively with College Central Network® to power its career management platform for its Career and Transfer Connections.

College Central Network is a robust career platform designed to provide job seekers with employment opportunities and career development resources, while providing a pipeline of new talent to business and industry. It features opportunities for part-time jobs, internships, and full-time employment, making the job search experience easier and more productive for you.

The platform also provides a quick, easy way to sign up for career fairs, workshops, résumé reviews, and appointments with Career Services staff. You'll find great job and internship opportunities here, as well as relevant career advice resources, including the award-winning College Central Podcast featuring over 125 quick dives into specific career related topics. Plus, you'll have access to the Job Agent, which automatically matches job opportunities to your unique profile.

To date, over six million jobs have been posted by more than two million employers, who are recruiting candidates through the Network—their one-stop shop for recruiting!

Sierra Community College District:  Sierra Job Link Job Posting Policy

  • Sierra Community College District retains the right to refuse any employer, for any reason, the opportunity to post jobs on its online Sierra Job Link site.
  • The Sierra Community College District provides Sierra Job Link as a public service for employers who can guarantee at least an hourly wage that complies with the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act for minimum wage. Postings of business opportunities that cannot make this guarantee, multi-level marketing businesses, or other business ventures that require an initial investment on the part of the applicant are excluded from posting.
  • Any opportunities labeled "internship" must meet both SCJCCD district policy as well as applicable State and Federal regulations. Those that are entered and do not will be changed to volunteer or part-time/full-time position when applicable.
  • Staffing and/or temporary employment services may only post specific part-time and full-time jobs. Job “types” used for the purpose solely for advertising are excluded. Resume review access will not be granted to these agencies.
  • Sierra Job Link will make every effort to provide approved access to employers within two business days of receiving a registration request, except during periods of scheduled District holidays.
  • Organizations that have been denied the opportunity to post on the Sierra College Sierra Job Link site can be, upon request, notified in writing within ten (10) days of the denial.
  • Organizations recruiting through Sierra Job Link agree to contact Sierra Job Link when their position is closed, canceled or changed and to give full notification of any students or graduates hired via email to Sierra Job Link at ctc@sierracollege.edu.

All employers who wish to use Sierra Job Link must be an Equal Opportunity Employer and indicate so by providing their initials in the EOE Status box during registration. Employers who do not comply will not be permitted to use Sierra Job Link.
