If you want employers to consider you when they are searching for candidates, you must upload a resume.
If you want to upload a resume in order to send it to potential employers but you do not want an employer to search your resume, select the second authorization option on your registration form.

Each On-Campus job will require job seekers to submit a resume OR an application in order to properly apply. You can keep both documents uploaded and simply select the appropriate document for each job to which you apply. Please click the link below to access the PDF application. Open and complete the document. Save it to your computer, a flash drive, etc. and upload it to the job board for approval. We will approve your document AS IS. Please be thorough and proofread before uploading. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make note of the application requirements for each position to which you apply. You may not be considered for the position if you submit the incorrect document. Our office recommends that you do not enter anything in the search fields when searching for a job on the job board. Not all Employers enter in the specific majors or classifications that they are looking for and therefore their job might not show up if you choose a major or classification while performing a search.
For example: ABCD Company is looking for nurses so they posted a job on the Bulldog Job Board. When they posted it they did not enter a major in the major field. Anita Job, a recent grad from SWOSU went in and searched for jobs one day. She listed Nursing in the major field when she did the job search and found no jobs when she completed the search. This is because she limited her search when she entered nursing in the major field. So then Anita Job went back and left the major area blank. When she conducted her search this time she found the job that ABCD Company had posted along with many others that might fit her desires.
The only time we recommend entering an item into a search field is if you have a job ID for the specific job you are looking for or if you are searching for teaching jobs. If you are searching for teaching jobs you can enter “Education” into the School ID field. Upon completing the search you should see only education job listings.

As you continue your educational experience by attending college, you may seek part-time employment. Please search the Bulldog Job Board for open positions on and off campus.
SWOSU employs only United States citizens and aliens who are authorized to work in the United States and are committed to complying with various state and federal laws governing employment practices. Additionally, SWOSU is an E-Verify employer. As a condition of employment, each new employee and each newly rehired employee must have a properly completed Immigration and Naturalization Service Form I-9 with appropriate supporting documents to prove eligibility for employment. As an E-Verify employer, we require all employees are required to provide their original Social Security card as documentation. Aliens without a Social Security card can still seek employment on campus and the Human Resources office will provide direction on how to obtain a Social Security number.
a) Screening/Reference Verification: At the discretion of SWOSU, various screenings and verification checks may be conducted. This may include, but is not be limited to, reference checks, driver’s records and/or degree/licensure/certification verification, etc.
b) Background Checks: SWOSU may complete background checks for designated positions new hires. All information will be considered confidential, to the extent possible.
Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate (W-4): All employees are required by federal law to complete and sign a W-4 Form.
Loyalty Oath: As required by state statute, all individuals are required to sign a Loyalty Oath upon employment by SWOSU.
Miscellaneous: As such needs are identified, various additional employment documents may be required of employees from time to time throughout the course of employment. Proof of an employee's social security number is required for payroll purposes, also.

Re: Direct Deposit Notice
All employees of SWOSU, which include faculty, staff, and student employees, part-time and temporary workers are now required to participate in the direct deposit system at employment. This change is directed by the State Finance Office and State Treasurer’s Office as they are no longer printing payroll checks. Employees hired before December 31, 2004 now have only a few months to set up their direct deposit information.
Direct Deposit is a safe, easy and efficient banking method for your payroll funds. Direct Deposit is posted electronically to the employee’s account showing as available funds on the payroll date.
If a SWOSU employee does not set up a Direct Deposit account with a bank of their choice, an account will be set up on their behalf for payroll funds to be deposited at a local institution designated by SWOSU. Negations are currently in process to set up special accounts for employees who do not choose the direct deposit system.
Please stop by Human Resources, ADM 101 or Payroll, ADM 112 today to complete and sign a direct deposit form. All you need is a canceled check or a direct deposit form completed by their bank to start the process.
