Employer Registration Information

The registration fee for this event is $150 which includes 1 table with 2 recruiters.

Employers may register 2 additional representatives (at $25.00 per person) up to a maximum of 4 individuals per one table.  A 2nd table may be requested for an additional $50 and for a maximum of 2 additional representatives. The total number of recruiters for two tables may not exceed six (6). Space is limited and additional tables will be approved on a first come, first served basis. Please note: Employers requesting a 2nd table may be assigned to a specific location in the event room at the discretion of the event organizers.

Employers interested in participating in this event are encouraged to register on-line as early as possible. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until we reach our capacity or until the registration deadline of February 5, 2019. A waiting list will be developed once we reach our capacity.

Payment must be received by the registration deadline of February 5, 2019.  Requests for payment extension should be made in writing to sperago@ycp.edu by February 5, 2019.  Please include the date we can expect your payment.  Without full payment by the registration deadline we cannot guarantee you will be included in the Employer Guidebook distributed to candidates at the event.

Need to cancel your registration? Full refunds will be given for cancellation requests made in writing (email acceptable) by February 5, 2019.  No refunds will be granted after the registration deadline.

No refunds will be granted in the event the fair is cancelled due to weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. Cancellation information will be posted on this site; email notifications will be sent to the primary contact person on the school's Registration.

Teacher Recruitment Day Fair will feature an Open Format from 9:00am-1:00pm to facilitate candidate screenings and mini-interviews. All candidates are welcomed. This will be followed by a Closed Format from 1:00pm-3:00pm in which full interviews and additional mini-interviews will take place by invitation only at the recruiter's fair table. We cannot accommodate any additional or separate interview space; your fair table will serve as your interview space.

The sole purpose of the Teacher Recruitment Day Fair is to offer traditional classroom teaching career opportunities to our students and alumni. We reserve the right to limit employers to those most appropriate for the interests of our students/alumni with Teaching Certified Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Therefore we reserve the right to limit the number of third-party staffing agencies, educational vendors and non-traditional educational employers. This may delay their registration approval/denial until a few weeks before the fair, or incorporate them into the event in another way. Further, we cannot permit solicitation or marketing of products or services to our students at the event, and do not specifically endorse any of our employers or guidebook advertisers.

Should intemperate weather occur, the Teacher Recruitment Day (TRD) is required to follow Millersville’s inclement weather decision. Your safety and that of our candidates is paramount. If Millersville issues a delay, changes in the fair's start time may necessitate a change in format or ending time. No one is permitted on campus before the delayed start time. Should Millersville issue a campus closure on our fair date, the Teacher Recruitment Day is unable to be rescheduled and our best effort will be given to connect you with our candidates through alternative means. It is up to the sole discretion of the TRD Consortium to decide if any partial refunds will be issued. Please keep a close watch on the email that was submitted when registering for the fair; we will communicate weather updates and fair format changes via email.
