The Advancement Office is happy to announce that the scholarship application process for 2016-2017 will be open as of Friday, Oct. 30, 2015! The deadline for submitting an application, which must be done online, is Feb. 8, 2016. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE and no scholarships will be awarded to students without a complete, accurate, qualified online application.

To access the application, visit our website on Friday: There is a link to learn more about applying for a 2016-2017 scholarship, which contains several documents to assist you in completing the application accurately. Please read these documents before you go to the application itself. You may then click on the link to the STARS Online application. It is extremely important that you begin the application process on our website rather than on the online application site directly, so you have access to important directions and other information.

This year there were scholarships that were not awarded because there were no qualified and complete applications submitted for those scholarships. If you need assistance with completing the application correctly, please contact our office at (630) 466-7900 ext. 2316 or

Hands-on workshops are scheduled between Nov. 10 and Dec. 8 at various locations and times. A flier is posted at all locations; space is limited and registration is required prior to each workshop. Contact the Advancement Office for more information.
