This position as an Economist in the Federal Career Intern Program is located within the Office of the Inspector General, U.S. Department of Transportation Headquarters Office in Washington, D.C.
In this position as an Economist you will: Receive training designed to develop your skills for performing work in a Federal audit environment. Assist in the evaluation and review of transportation-related competition and economic issues, including functions and operations of the Department of Transportation. You must be a United States citizen. Must have a college degree and grade point average of at least 3.0 or higher. Must have a degree in economics that included at least 21 semester hours of economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting or calculus. Location of position is in Washington, D.D.
