About Our Services

North Central State College has partnered exclusively with College Central Network® to power its career management platform for its Career Development Office.

College Central Network is a robust career platform designed to provide job seekers with employment opportunities and career development resources, while providing a pipeline of new talent to business and industry. It features opportunities for part-time jobs, internships, and full-time employment, making the job search experience easier and more productive for you.

The platform also provides a quick, easy way to sign up for career fairs, workshops, résumé reviews, and appointments with Career Services staff. You'll find great job and internship opportunities here, as well as relevant career advice resources, including the award-winning College Central Podcast featuring over 125 quick dives into specific career related topics. Plus, you'll have access to the Job Agent, which automatically matches job opportunities to your unique profile.

To date, over six million jobs have been posted by more than two million employers, who are recruiting candidates through the Network—their one-stop shop for recruiting!

For Students

All students have been pre-registered on CCN and are required to use their NCSC Student ID as their CCN User ID. The User ID must be 10 digits long, so if your ID has fewer than 10 digits, include zeroes at the beginning (for example: 0001234567). Click the "Activate your account" link to get started.

If you already have a CCN account, please disregard this requirement.

Once registered, you may:

  • Search for jobs posted exclusively to North Central State College and search the Jobs Central® national job board.
  • Build a résumé with Résumé Builder, or upload a résumé file to Resume Central® so you can apply directly to jobs and/or allow it to be searched by employers (if you so authorize). Your résumé will be reviewed by our office and must be approved before it can be sent to employers or submitted online to posted jobs.
  • Build an online portfolio in Career Portfolio Central® to support your résumé and demonstrate your best work to employers.
  • Review your job search history. Report offers/hires.
  • Receive emails about programs, services and job-related topics.
  • Gain access to announcements, upcoming events, career advice documents, career advice videos, podcasts, and career articles from over 125 authors.

North Central State College Career Development Services works to connect students and alumni with local businesses and industries, as well as those across Ohio and beyond. Additionally, we assist students exploring career options, and we help students who are ready to enter the workforce become better prepared for the job search process.

For Alumni

You must register with CCN to use our services. This process is quick and easy!

North Central State College Career Development Services works to connect alumni with local businesses and industries, establishing greater linkage between local alumni and employers. Additionally, we provide career counseling to alumni, creating opportunities for expanding career goals and job skills training.

For Employers

Our online Employer Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

You must register your organization with our office prior to accessing these services or registering for events. Once your registration is reviewed, if it is approved you will receive an email which includes a link to activate your account.

We prefer to only have one account per organization. This makes it clearer for reporting purposes as well as for student/alumni searches and tracking/organizing job postings. If your organization is already registered on CCN, please communicate with the account holders to decide how to proceed. We have the ability to assign multiple individuals to a single organization account.

If approved, depending on your access level, you will be able to use some or all of the services listed below:

  • Job Posting
    Post jobs targeted to North Central State College students, alumni, community residents.
  • Résumé Search
    Search résumés of our students, alumni, community residents. When searching for alumni, your results may include community residents.
  • Portfolio Search
    Search career portfolios that have been prepared by our students, alumni, community residents.
  • North Central State College Career Development Services works to connect students and alumni with local businesses and industries, as well as those across Ohio and beyond. CCN is a powerful tool to help businesses and students and alumni communicate with one another, as well as with the Career office at NC State in order to achieve this goal.

For Community Residents

If you are a community resident who would like to search for jobs, you must first register. Please indicate that you are a Community Resident on your registration form. Once registered, you may also receive emails about programs, services and job-related topics.
