1. If you upload a résumé, do not include a street address or phone number - instead use a disposable e-mail address and check it often. This will allow you to protect your privacy while ensuring that you can still be easily contacted. The Career Center will still be able to access your phone number and address; information entered on the registration form is only accessible to the Career Center.

2. Evaluate all job postings carefully, looking for discrepancies or suspicious claims.
