About Our Services

Wilson Community College has partnered exclusively with College Central Network® to power its career management platform for its Student Development Office.

College Central Network is a robust career platform designed to provide job seekers with employment opportunities and career development resources, while providing a pipeline of new talent to business and industry. It features opportunities for part-time jobs, internships, and full-time employment, making the job search experience easier and more productive for you.

The platform also provides a quick, easy way to sign up for career fairs, workshops, résumé reviews, and appointments with Career Services staff. You'll find great job and internship opportunities here, as well as relevant career advice resources, including the award-winning College Central Podcast featuring over 125 quick dives into specific career related topics. Plus, you'll have access to the Job Agent, which automatically matches job opportunities to your unique profile.

To date, over six million jobs have been posted by more than two million employers, who are recruiting candidates through the Network—their one-stop shop for recruiting!

For Students

WELCOME STUDENTS!

All students have been pre-registered to use our CCN services. Select the Activate link to complete the registration process. Use your Wilson Community College Student ID Number as your CCN User ID and your Wilson Community College e-mail address.

Once registered, you may:

  • Search for jobs posted exclusively to Wilson Community College and search the Jobs Central® national job board.
  • Build a résumé with Résumé Builder, or upload a résumé file to Resume Central® so you can apply directly to jobs and/or allow it to be searched by employers (if you so authorize).
  • Build an online portfolio in Career Portfolio Central® to support your résumé and demonstrate your best work to employers.
  • Review your job search history. Report offers/hires.
  • Receive emails about programs, services and job-related topics.
  • Gain access to announcements, upcoming events, career advice documents, career advice videos, podcasts, and career articles from over 125 authors.

For Alumni

WELCOME ALUMNI!

You must register before you can begin using CCN. Register using your Wilson Community College number as your User ID. Register by clicking, "Create Account." Please note, only alumni that have graduated within the past two years will be able to access our CCN services.

After you log in, click "Search Postings to my school".

WELCOME EMPLOYERS!

You must register your organization on CCN prior to accessing services at Wilson Community College. Once your registration is reviewed and if it is approved, you will receive an email which includes a link to activate your account. Employers with approved CCN accounts may post paid job opportunities*.

We highly recommend targeting job postings by major.

Our online Employer Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
