Account Manager

As a Komar Distribution Services Account Manager you will be responsible for international and domestic shipment tracking, order management, cost saving initiatives and inventory management support. Must have retail fulfillment experience.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Customer Service:

• Follow Supply Chain Management from Production creation through Sales Order Shipping

• Directly contributes to the development and implementation of the domestic and international logistics strategies to ensure cost effective and on-time flow

• Understanding and addressing – as quickly and completely as possible – issues within the supply chain

• Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's needs; determining the cause of the issue; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting

• Assist in identifying internal/external issues to increasing efficiency, cut overall costs

• Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.

• Provide fast and accurate solutions personalized to each customer and situation

• Develop and/or help to compile reports to provide internal and external visibility and overall customer satisfaction

• Monitor inbound product shipments, prioritizing all inbound shipments that should be processed more urgently, ensuring the most timely receipt and processing of the customers’ orders

• Manage special projects from concept to completion. This includes duties such as creating a visible Special project procedure flow, coordinating the labor/process implementation, as well as order supplies to complete projects

• Establish, document best business practices and compliance programs.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

• Background with 3PL and/or domestic transportation

• Minimum of three years' experience within a consumer products and retail fulfillment environment.

• Understanding of production planning concepts.

• Experience with logistics terminology, analysis and management

The Marine Operations Planner is responsible for assisting with the day to day management of the Fleet. The Marine Operations Planner is responsible for maintaining company safety standards and complying with all regulatory requirements. The Marine Operations Planner reports to The Director of Marine Operations. This position requires some travel to American Cruise Lines Vessels.

Currently looking for an engineer for the vessel Carol Jean. This is a full time position. The Carol Jean runs from April through October. The position continues to offer full time during the “off season”. This is a time where larger maintenance projects are done. This off season we are re-powering the Carol Jeans main propulsion engines. Our engineers are require to have a TWIC card and be enrolled in our drug testing program, but are not required to have a MMC or engineering license. We are looking for someone with the aptitude for the machinery space. The position has been being field by an MMA graduate for the last 4 years.
