About Our Services

Schoolcraft College has partnered exclusively with College Central Network® to power its career management platform for its Career Services.

College Central Network is a robust career platform designed to provide job seekers with employment opportunities and career development resources, while providing a pipeline of new talent to business and industry. It features opportunities for part-time jobs, internships, and full-time employment, making the job search experience easier and more productive for you.

The platform also provides a quick, easy way to sign up for career fairs, workshops, résumé reviews, and appointments with Career Services staff. You'll find great job and internship opportunities here, as well as relevant career advice resources, including the award-winning College Central Podcast featuring over 125 quick dives into specific career related topics. Plus, you'll have access to the Job Agent, which automatically matches job opportunities to your unique profile.

To date, over six million jobs have been posted by more than two million employers, who are recruiting candidates through the Network—their one-stop shop for recruiting!

For Students

You must register with CCN to use our services. If you have already registered, sign in to begin using our services.

Students: Your Access ID is your Schoolcraft student ID number beginning with "0" - do not use the lower case letter as part of your Access ID.

To search for jobs, select "Postings to My School."

To search for on-campus student employment: Select "Postings to My School," scroll down to "Job Type" and check the box that says "Student Assistant."

Once registered, you may:

  • Search for jobs posted exclusively to Schoolcraft College and search the Jobs Central® national job board.
  • Build a résumé with Résumé Builder, or upload a résumé file to Resume Central® so you can apply directly to jobs and/or allow it to be searched by employers (if you so authorize).
  • Build an online portfolio in Career Portfolio Central® to support your résumé and demonstrate your best work to employers.
  • Review your job search history. Report offers/hires.
  • Receive emails about programs, services and job-related topics.
  • Gain access to announcements, upcoming events, career advice documents, career advice videos, podcasts, and career articles from over 125 authors.

All department services are FREE & open to the public - the College Central Network job board, job fairs, workshops, and more.

For Alumni

Alumni: Please create an Access ID and complete the new user registration.

If you have already registered, simply sign in to begin using our services!

To search for jobs, select "Postings to My School" after logging in.

Once registered, you may:

  • Search for jobs posted exclusively to Schoolcraft College; search the Jobs Central® national job board .

For Employers

Online Employer Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

New employers must register with our office. Once your registration is reviewed and approved, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration and create a password. At this point, you may begin posting job opportunities. All new employer registrations & job postings submitted before 5:00 p.m. are approved the same day.

Resume review by employers is subject to approval by Career Services staff; new employers may not be immediately granted this privilage.

If approved, depending on your access level, you will be able to use some or all of the services listed below:

  • Job Posting
    Post jobs targeted to Schoolcraft College students, alumni, community residents.
  • Résumé Search
    Search résumés of our students, alumni, community residents. When searching for alumni, your results may include community residents.
  • Portfolio Search
    Search career portfolios that have been prepared by our students, alumni, community residents.

The Schoolcraft College Career Services Office wants to assist employers with their recruitment efforts. In addition to posting jobs in the Schoolcraft College Central Network, employers are welcome to participate in campus recruiting & job fair events and have their job postings publicized on Career Services' social networks.

Employers are welcome to email "now hiring" flyers to careerservices@schoolcraft.edu.

For Community Residents

Community Members: Please create an Access ID and complete the online registration form. All new user registrations submitted by 5:00 p.m. are reviewed and approved the same day.

Many career-related services are available in the Career Services Office. Job Fairs, Career Expos, Employer Recruiting Events, and Career Workshops. These services and events are open to the public and are FREE*!
