Graduate Program in Energy Science ORNL and Univ. Tenn.
ORNL has partnered with the University of Tennessee-Knoxville to offer a very robust graduate program in energy science. The Bredesen Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Graduate Education (Bredesen Center) offers students coming out of an undergraduate or master’s program to obtain a doctoral degree in Energy Science and Engineering. Students in the program are able to deep dive into Climate Studies, Smart Grid Technology, Biosciences/Biofuel Research, Nuclear Energy, Computer/Computational Sciences, Neutron Scattering, or Materials Science and conduct corresponding research at UT. Tuition for the program is covered and students receive a $28,000-$30,000 stipend. More information at http://cire.utk.edu!
